TELKONOL M 50 TABLET helps in treating high blood pressure where metoprolol works by preventing certain chemical messengers to bind their respective receptors in the heart and vessels, causing heart to beat slowly with less force and telmisartan blocks the effect of angiotensin II receptor (a chemical messenger that narrow down your blood vessels) that causes relaxation and widening of blood vessels resulting in lowering of blood pressure.
